PTSD Foundation | Camp Hope s a non-profit organization located in Houston Texas hat provides a safe space for the Veterans of trauma and post-traumatic stress in which to experience healing. The intensive residential program at Camp Hope aims to provide a more comprehensive peer support and mentoring based healing for those who need more than our Warrior Groups can provide. There is no other location like it in the United States, and to date over 1,348 Veterans have graduated from the Camp Hope program.
Warrior Dog Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Texas that transitions our country’s working K9s from an operational environment into retirement. Providing mental and physical rehabilitation, and rehoming options to Military Working Dogs (MWD), Contract Working Dogs (CWD) and Law Enforcement K9s that otherwise would be euthanized.
K9s4COPs mission is to build a safer future by placing K9 officers in communities and schools. They help officers do their job safer, faster and in many cases saved their lives.
K9s cost $10,000+ per dog, and most agencies struggle when budgeting for the purchase of a K9. What most departments CAN budget for however, is the required care, training and transportation of a K9.
